The washout was deep in a few spots so we would zig zag back and forth in it splashing around. anyway, long story short, i play for about 2 minutes and turn around to go park. by the time i am parking a galveston cop lights me up. he doesnt do the normal "do you know why i stopped you" routine. This little fella is a hispanic gent that is maybe 25 and very wet behind the ears He just walks up and gets my insurance and liscense.......here is how our interaction went after waiting about 10 minutes:

Cop: sign here this is not an admissions of guilt.....blah blah blah

Me: You are seriously giving me a ticket?

Cop: This is public land and the speed limit is 15 mph

Me: Oh, so you had a radar and clocked me going over 15?

        Cop: no

Me: so we are just going off of your wild ass guess on my speed? we were playing in the washout and there is no way i got over 10!

        Cop: Well i could go ahead and write you a ticket for no seatbelt (this i was guilty of......in and out of the jeep all day with no doors on the jeep.....didnt wear a belt}

me: no dude, i know how this works and i cant win so just give me the ticket

Cop: do you have any more questions

Me: Not at all Mr Crime Fighter! Keep fighting these awful crimes you are doing an excellent job!

        Thus endeth the exchange

So....I got excessive speed in the washout.

I have zero problems handling any and all tickets i have ever received in the past, but this is plain old horse shit.
hire a lawyer who does lots of tickets in that area. they can make it go away you will likely pay a fine though

lmao! cited for a 5 point harness because it wasnt DOT approved. Id lay odds that a 5pt harness is well above and beyond the safety regulations for passenger restraints

08.....it has basically stock height right now give or take an inch. it has zone shocks and a skyjacker stabilizer. the springs are stock JKU which gives it an inch.

when i can afford it, it will get a 3" old man emu with 35" tires.............probably gonna get the mickey thompson baja rims with the fake beadlocks in aluminum..........that way if i want them black i can shoot them with plastidip and then be able to peel it off if i get tired of the black.

The only reason most aren't is because 1) the expense tied with DOT testing and 2) release mechanism, with street belts you push the button and it releases no matter the tension on the belt, with a 5 point sometimes they can "hang up" but the way around that is to wiggle around a bit to release tension on the buckle. I have to do that with the belts in my race car to get them to release, but it doesn't take me long at all. Pull release, wiggle shoulders up and down and I'm out of them. Given the type of car I'm in my belts are always super tight so that may be a factor.

You won't win, unless you have him on video admitting to not clocking you. If you fight it he will simply lie in court saying he clocked you at (insert speed here), or say how reckless you were. Guaranteed he took note of you being a smartass and will gladly tell the judge you were being a belligerent asshole.

As said, he can simply tell the judge to his best discretion you were being a danger to yourself, passengers(?) and he felt it was necessary to stop you due to your unsavory shenanigans.

Can you scan in this section of the ticket?

i could, but that would require effort on my part, so no. But, it just has a slash under speed and radar

Curious to know how this turns out.

Maybe take a pic of the ticket with ur cell for ol' trublugt. Not as much effort, but still implies some lol...
