    Yep my pop's Duramax has one. He just got a Reese sleeve and solved the problem.

      Thanks for everyones help...ended up picking up the adapter from Walmart today.


      Also got in the new proper sized hitch from Amazon. Its a Reese 2.5" forged piece, not welded box tubing

        Now that is a hitch lol, I leave my B&W hitch in all the time it has already save my back bumper once from damage when a guy rearended me. Our employes seem to always lose the adapters, so on the new trucks we get I'm just going to run a bead of weld down each side.
