Granbury medics/police asking for JP's and where they should now be taking fatalities... Really sad and scary... Lots of friends and family in the areas hit. My brothers ex wife lives in the subdivision they keep showing on tv in Granbury. No one can get a hold of her or 3 or her 4 kids.

We were hit hard with hail here in Mineral Wells. I lost my windshield and both our cars were damaged.

Got a hold of my police connection there and he is going to go check the house... He knows (confirmed by existing report) that the neighbors house is now blocking the road(were talking 3k sq.ft home that was relocated... No report concerning her house though

NBC 5's Scott Gordon snapped this photo of the damage in Granbury after a tornado. A Granbury resident tells NBC 5 that many homes are leveled. At least two people have been killed, MedStar EMS told NBC 5. The Hood County sheriff reports that up to 100 people are injured, MedStar said.

WTF is causing this weather? Last June we had Tornados and hail shit constantly too... When I grew up here in the 80s, it hardly ever hailed, let alone fucken tornados like Oklahoma area usually gets... Is this global warming or something?

My prayers go out to everyone, this is some scary and stupid shit. Makes me want to get in my car and go back to California.

I don't think it happens now more than it did when we were kids-we were just less aware of the situation or were kept busy so we didn't notice/freak out. I'm not saying that's the way it is, but could definitely explain it for me.

My dad was a Keller weather watcher back in the day for Harold Taft. He would take me out and show me stuff until things got dark or serious then he would send me in to my mom. At that point, my mom would distract my ADHD ass so I had no clue what was going on outside.




*edit* and hell, at least we can predict the tornadoes somewhat. Cali can't give you a heads up on earthquakes. Fuckabunchathat!
