Is this some new CL scam baiting?

I posted a lawnmower for sale and today I received two odd responses.

"1:58:55 PM Get at me - Xvrjrd@live.com

This is an older Toro 2 stroke Commercial push mower."

Um, yeah it says that all over the title and description. He didn't ask me a question though.

I also got this one:

"219 PM What city are you staying? Will be expecting - Gwjpgv@live.com

This is an older Toro 2 stroke Commercial push mower."

I clearly stated the city in the location and Rockwall is only 8 square miles.

What's the deal here? Are they just fishing for email addresses?

It's a bot phishing for email addresses, on the buy-side.

There's also plenty of bot posts phishing, on the sell side.

I just didn't want any clowns blowing up my phone over stupid shit. Like every beaner immediately trying to offer me $50 less. I am less inclined to cut any deals for anyone whom I am fairly certain my tax dollars already go to pay for all their other crap.

I have another email I use just for things like Craigslist and such to buy or sell items. this way I do not have to worry as much about my regular email getting slammed with crap.
