I only have about 6k on mine and quit driving it daily as I got another vehicle that gets better gas mileage. Maybe it will get a bit better with some more break in but I am not holding my breath.
My truck runs fine and is fun to drive. I haven't had any issues other than what seems to be a glazed driver rear brake pad / rotor, which one dealer blew me off regarding it.
Maybe someone can do some tuning magic on them, or even better maybe there is already an updated program that can be uploaded via Ford. Anyone know of any?Last edited by 94form2000z; 05-14-2013, 09:54 PM.

I remember the first time that I opened the hood of a newer Taurus SHO at the dealership there for it's first oil change...I just remember the hottest wave of air hitting my face and thinking "that can't be good." I have no clue how the plastic engine cover survived that heat. There is definitely a LOT of energy being used in those things."Any dog under 50lbs is a cat and cats are pointless." - Ron Swanson

Glad I went with the 5.0 over the Ecoboost when I got my F150. My overall average is 17mpg since i've owned it. I get 21mpg on straight hwy driving with regularity. The city driving is what kills the mpg..."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776
