and to those wondering what we will do with all this shale gas we have? well theres a lil company building a big chill machine down in Louisiana. There are also about 80 LNG Supertankers under construction as we speak. Theres also a lil project going on in the panama canal to be completed by 2015. Basically the are widening the locks on the canal so the supertankers can pass through and have a shortcut to asian markets. By 2020 the US of A will be a net exporter of NG and there will be lots of profits to be made. Remember spindletop oil boom back in the day? this is gonna be alot bigger than that.

They are also converting the Marcus Hook terminal here in Philly from import to export capabilities.

When US goes net export, There won't be a massive price cut for fossil fuels.
The inflation being stoked now by the Fed will ensure that. Also, China and India will sop up the middle east's new availability from lower US demand from them. Africa will come online with more economic development if their governments get a clue. China is accumulating bets on this.

          and what of the petro-dollar?
US going net export with fossil fuels will be the nail in the coffin being built by the Fed. The oil-demanding nations will no longer see any need of the middle man while buying their oil direct from the middle east.

Sub-75 crude is a happy memory.
Plan accordingly for the fossil fuels shift, and the US dollar's loss of status(you choose the degree).

I worked out in the Barnett in 06 for a service company when it was booming. Now I've heard rig count is hardly existent down there. Eagleford is turning and burning though.

I do service work on existing wells. The rigs are gone but still work to be done to keep them going.
