But yeah, pretty much all chain restaurants work this way. It's a lot easier for me to say, just try and stick with the mom and pop places. Even some of those do the same retherm stuff, but it's pretty much guaranteed at chains. At least with mom and pop's you have a chance of having fresh food, made in house.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

What a total melt down of a show... I was disappointed it ended."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

The food tastes good to me though. She said sometimes to chicken can look a bit gray at times though.

It's possible, but I doubt it. I'm pretty sure we scrapped our IR technology on conveyor ovens several years ago. Unless one of my competitors just came out with something new that I haven't seen yet.
She may be getting "infrared" confused with "impingement". Common mistake, but they work two very different ways.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I always presumed Gordon Ramsey was a dick and still haven't watched this particular episode, but while working out in our office gym yesterday, I watched two episodes of Nightmare Kitchen. Man, it's addicting and Gordon actually really knows what he's talking about, has a strong work ethic, and cares. Yeah, he's abrasive and curses way too much, but it's probably half for show and half his personality.
In short, my opinion of him changed quite a bit after watching those two episodes. It's actually a pretty entertaining show and he really helps people turn their restaurants around...well, besides apparently this one episode I need to watch.Ford

He's a Brit, and they are a lot more loose with language than Americans are. He's actually a really nice guy. Most of that is for the show. He is a Chef, and Chefs are predisposed to arrogance and abrasiveness. But he's a good dude, he does care a lot about what he does, and he's not even a blip on the radar when it comes to asshole Chefs.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
