You ever seen a big truck tire blow? 120psi and up to 34,000 pounds on them. Seen them take hoods and fenders off. 130 pounds of rubber coming apart will do some damage

I was at a very small camp a few years ago. Sitting down to eat dinner we heard what we thought was a mortar round land explode. It was a 5 ton's tire after the dumbass driver came in from a convoy with the parking brakes on the entire time. Brakes caught fire and eventually blew the tire. As we were running for the bunker we figured out it was the 5 ton just in time to see a troop with a fire extinguisher get blown backwards by the second tire going off. Literally blew the clothes off the guy and sent him flying. Dangerous shit.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

This is why I HATE it when people just drive along side of me just staying the same speed sitting a foot or so away from my tires. A real bad place to b e around, the blind spots and tires = a real bad day if something gos wrong.

I keep good tires on mine, Just put on a new set of Michelins set me back 5700 bucks.

Are you talking about the EMT guy?

It will be a terrible trucking job, if any of this sticks. He will never be able to haul haz-mat and will never be able to cross any borders.

<-----A CDL, Haz-Mat, F.A.S.T., cleared in Canada and Mexico, and all Military bases. I've even had the stressful pleasure of hauling a warhead to Red River. Land/air escort included.

I worked with this guy years ago when he first became a medic. He reached out to me a couple of years ago to get on with the firm I was working for overseas. It absolutley shocks me to see someone I once knew plastered all over the news.

Years ago, I saw an old split-rim take out several shop lights, a garage door, a customers car, and broke my buddies arm...badly. I never changed another one after that. Call it early retirement at 17.

I've seen it, my point was that they will soon want to be balls deep in regulation on ANYTHING that they can call dangerous.

Growing up in West Texas I've seen acetylene/ oxygen bombs, etc set off just in the name of fun. I would hate to see what kind of criminals the feds would classify us as.

Just the ten on the tractor. Steers where over 650 each and drives where 550 each. Tires are one thing I have never took the cheap route. They will pay for them self in fuel savings.

We used to make soda bottle rockets with the natural gas from the Bunsen burners, in the science lab, with the teacher laughing until she cried. Today, they'd say we were trying to launch them at Israel and send paratroopers in.
ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh

I know how much the parts are, but I had no idea tires were that expensive. How much do the super singles usually run?
