I believe that my daughter could have accidentally shot herself in the head at two had I been brainless enough to leave a loaded gun where she could have gotten it.
He could have grabbed the gun, sat down and put the gun in between his legs with the barrel pointed up. Naturally he wants to look down the barrel, and then accidentally pushes the trigger down with his hand.
