I'd take a look at your pricing with Dish. HD Channels are now included free. I have the 200 tier, the HD DVR, and HBO and my bill is like $85 a month... I'm on a month to month also - no new customer discount.

I had TWC before and I will NEVER use them again. Their customer service is god awful and I had major problems w/ internet and TV service with them.

I don't remember what package I have. I want to say something about a "silver" package. I am also month to month.

DirecTV, but I'm a huge sports nut and they offer the best sports packages.

I have been kicking around the idea of cutting tv service all together for quite a while. I think I am going to do it for a month or so to see how we handle it with bunny ears and all.

I moved off of Dish to Verizon Fios a little over a year ago....it's great!

I've heard ATT is good too.

Try it. We've been doing that since last March and have no regrets.

How are you getting that? Mine's $96 and some change for choice extra + HD and one HD DVR. Your package alone is $142, plus whatever the lease fees would be for 3 more receivers. You are about half price.

I've been with them for about 10 years and I call in to bitch and moan every six months.

I just checked my actual statement and it comes out to $115 and that's after all the credits etc are applied.

I have U-Verse but it isn't cheap after the initial 12 months.
