  • Killing a day in Granbury?

What's there to do to kill some time in between a visit to Revolver and catching a movie at the Brazos? Any good eats on the lake? Must sees? Point winners with the lady?

    Absolutely nothing.

Go pick strawberries, picnic on the beach area by the hotel or let her shop in main square area. Brazos (I think) BBQ is supposed to be good, but I can't vouch personally.

Grumps has some decent burgers and ice cold Shiner in Granbury. Or if you want some badass breakfast burritos, stop by Montes - and dont forget the green salsa, it's awesome. Both of these places are right off 377. There is also a new indoor shooting range that I heard was pretty good.

Hope that they are having a fair in down town. If not you will be bored.

Revolver tour ends at 3, the gates at the Brazos don't open till 7:15. From the sound of it, we'll just be coming back to spend the rest of the day/evening in downtown funkytown.

Oh don't even try and get on the water. That lake may be doomed due to crazy water issues. I fear that the lake will go back to being a river soon.

Commanche Peak may have a tour available afterwards or you could also check out the Dublin bottling plant. No more Dr. Pepper but the museum and soda shop are still there. Then there is Hard 8 not too far away. Also Motorsport Ranch and the Wakeboard park.

Revolver's tour is great btw. Grant usually gives them personally and he's a rock star in the beer world. It's probably not as big as you'd expect but the beer and tour more than make up for it.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Come on down to Stephenville and we'll catch some dinner at Hard 8. I have a movie at 6:40 so I can meet you right when I get off at 5.
