That's gonna be like a million dollars to put wood floors in! Make sure the lot is only 5000 square feet!

Is that little shack going to be the guest house?

The kitchen was a major reason for purchase.
One thing that's going to be difficult is there's no real place for an entertainment center. In the living room there's basically three sides. One is a short wall with the garage door, one has the front windows, and the other has a fireplace. I guess I'll just have to wall mount.
I have a pretty nice entertainment center that I may sell, but I hate to.

There was a pre-fab concrete place in Kennedale that did tilt wall houses all over south Tarrant County in the late 70's and early 80's. Wonder if it might be one of those? I don't know why he stopped building them. I'd love to have a house built that strong. Seems like it was Dave Bloxom at Speed Fabcrete. They used to be on Mansfield Highway just south of Kennedale. Their original model home was still there a year or two ago but they were using it as an office or storage.
Possibly? This was build in 88. About 25-50% of the houses on the street are the same style.

No shit man. I was thrilled to see my mortgage be under $500, but add on property tax and insurance, was like an additional $300 a month.

Wall are poured on the ground, and then stood up. The damn outside walls are about 6" thick. I expect it to be pretty efficient.

Love the tile roof! Don't see many of those in TX, only on $$$ houses.

Thanks man. It's actually not tile, it's like precast concrete. I believe it's a Concrete/Fiberglass mix.

Interesting house. Try to put the TV somewhere it can be seen while you're in the kitchen, too.

Ok I know exactly where that house is, my wife and I looked at it a couple of months ago. Nice place but we decided we want to move closer to my family. We live a few miles south of there in a place we are renting for the time being, closer to Alvarado.

I'd much rather pay a couple hundred dollars more per year in property tax and live in Texas than pay no property tax and live in any other State.

More like a few hundred per month. But nonetheless, I agree, TX kicks ass.
