Lol.. Shop is in the city and so is my desk job, so no country living for me..

If I had enough work at the shop and I could leave the desk job I would and purchase a house with that income(shop). But, I have only lived in TX for almost 4yrs. So I am piling up tools and machinery and taking work as it comes, sidejobs that is. As I said, if i got a house all my money will go into that, being single, no kids and paying everything alone. Also thought about renting it out once I bought one... Just afraid the housing market will go up and so will interest and I would be like "fuck, should have bought a house then" Lol

Don't worry, you can have health insurance at the shop soon.

                Good work, man.

There was a pre-fab concrete place in Kennedale that did tilt wall houses all over south Tarrant County in the late 70's and early 80's. Wonder if it might be one of those? I don't know why he stopped building them. I'd love to have a house built that strong. Seems like it was Dave Bloxom at Speed Fabcrete. They used to be on Mansfield Highway just south of Kennedale. Their original model home was still there a year or two ago but they were using it as an office or storage.

Good for you man. I'm looking at buying or building a house about 1200sft after I put mine on the market in a few months. I'm very minimal as far as possessions go and I don't like having all this empty space around.

I'm under 1500 and it's still almost too big. I'm sure I'll fill it up with shit eventually.

                        Congrats!

If I was single I would find a little farm house outside of town on a couple acres.

Enjoy the ridiculously high property tax for the rest of your life, it's crazy in TX. But I love being a homeowner.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
