DFW to Kauai for a full week.

Rented a condo on the beach.

Haven't scuba dived in 2 years, cannot wait to get my flippers wet.

Kauai was nice when I went, very laid back.

We did a kayak trip through the jungle, it was badass, and I highly recomend it. I broke my pinky finger back-flipping off a rope swing into a pool fed by a waterfall.

Yeah, the last few times we went to South Lake Tahoe, which is right on the border. Drove the few minutes over to NV to do a little gambling and shopping, but that was it. This summer I'm going to make a point to check out the north and west sides, and check out the infamous Donner Pass on the way to Tahoe city. It really is cool to be withing driving distance of these places.

            Vegas with work.

I need to get back to Tahoe as well. My cousin's in-laws own three cabins on the water on the CA side...open invite any time and I haven't been since 2006.

None. Vacations and newborns don't play well together.

The north side is badass. I've never been south.

I was too busy drinking and working, in that order. Hindsight = 20/20

I am finding that out real quick.

I think we settled on Niagra Falls staying at either the Radisson or Marriott right on the falls (Canadian side). Both have a great view of the Canadian and the AMERICAN falls. As timing would have it, we will be there for Fourth of July. So we are looking forward to watching the fireworks from our hotel windows.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Going to do 3-4 days of the Powertour, and probably take some more time off in July and/or August.

I would gladly stay at home for 2 weeks instead of a 8 day fly/out same day and then turn around and leave DFW the day after the trip is over. But you know the drill. Get out of the US for tax reasons and I spent 24 days in the US within the first 2 months of my contract (tax year) start date.
Have you looked into the BVI? That's the same week we'll be in the USVI, and the ferry from STT to Tortola is a quick little hop.
