I heard a 99gt convertible was also on that list. Good thing you dumped that thing off.

Probably after we close on a house ... don't want to shorten the average age of accounts, etc.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Older station wagons have been on the rise for the last few years.

And I'm not just saying that because I own one.

In my opinion, 4x4 or slow old iron.

With the crack downs on street racing, once people get into their late 20's the possibility of a DUI equivalent ticket or worse doesn't have much appeal. Since new cars are coming out with gobs of HP right out of the showroom, the only serious modders are usually track only cars (aix or drag).

Other than that you've got your 16-22 yr olds with virtually no money trying to do shit on the cheap, so they are making do with whatever their parents bought them and shopping at pep boys. They typically arent out shopping for a project car. There are some out there, but i wouldn't build a business on that market.

any 60s-70s truck would be a solid venture to keep flipping. people buy them up left and right and they are easy to build.

I wish I had my first vehicle ever back. 82 Chevy RCSB. I didn't appreciate it 18 years ago.

A buddy buys and sell SRT's and he did pretty good at it for awhile. Unfortunately for him they seem to be dieing off and he hasn't transitioned to another car yet so his business has dropped. I'm just curious what the current wave is. It needs to be a 2-5 year old car so it is common coming thru the salvage auction. Preferably a higher performance car or as someone said a 4x4.

Nothing wrong with getting a wider opinion base. I can build almost anything that I can afford (I would be clueless with a lambo for instance). I've just been playing with 80's cars for so long I'm out of touch with the current wave.
