I talked to my mom today and she said that the memorial day sale had some good deals on them but didn't remember what they were. She was going to let me know. I can also get deals on straight lumber so that is my other option.

I recondition headlights on most cars for $50.00. If interested shoot me a pm.

        Northern Tools close by you?

OP since your Mom works at Home Depot you might look at this Framing kit if you can get lumber at discounted prices.

Northern tools offers a Fast Framer Universal Storage Shed Framing Kit for $50

You provide the lumber. Order multiple kits to build a larger sized shed

That's a cool kit and seems like it would make it much easier to build. There's a Northern Tool on 183 in Bedford which would be convenient for him. I stay out of that place because there is just too much stuff there I want to buy.

              I'm down for a shed-building party Christian!

Oh, and Matt - Damn you built that thing solid! I would say over-built, but what the hell, may as well build it to last!

I had to rebuild the doors on mine a few months ago (dual barn doors). The framing wood (1x4's) had rotted out. The shed was here when I bought the house over 7 years ago, and was probably here for at least a few years when I moved in. When I took the doors apart I found they had not painted the back sides, which is where the rot was. I made sure to paint all sides of the boards when I rebuilt them.

Nice kit. If I were home to build mine, this kit looks like it would make it a whole lot easier and stronger.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I ordered one from home depot. 10X12 i think. Built the flooring for it from 4x4s and 3/4 inch plywood. Me and a helper did it in two days. Third day was me installing shingles. Then painted it this past summer. Wasn't perfect but is solid as Hell. All in all was like 1000 with the shed and everything else to Finnish it. I'll post pics tomorrow.

This is the shed i built, it's 12 X 10 and cost me around $1200 in materials. It's built way sturdier than the kits and I built a loft and shelves in it. I went with no plans and no kit. All in all it took about 2 weeks to build, but that was working on it every 2 or 3 days. I'd say I put about 4-5 days of solid work in total.

Go find some of those Laborers that hang out for contractors. You will be surprised you can get one for . I hooked up a roofing guy with a couple of houses and for less than a grand he built me a 12' x 12' x 10' high badass shed sitting cemented wood posts so it is off the ground.

                          I love my shed.
