My brother-in-law lived in those apartments in the early/mid 90's. Back then it wasn't bad, but that was about the time parts of Arlington were throwing up into that area.

Man that sucks still nothing...You should really consider moving from that area. You cant ever own any nice cars living in APT's! Especially living in Arlington/Irving/GP area. I learned my lesson 10 years ago when my S/C Cobra got stolen.

Why can't you activate on star and then call them the next day and say its been stolen. They should be able to activate it based on vin. You would think gm would want to make money by selling services

I would have thought Onstar would be able to activate the system in the car at the request of the police or something to try and get a location on the vehicle.

kind of defeats the purpose of it being a pay service.

My Mothers' white TBSS was stolen awhile back in Frisco, in broad daylight. Drove it south through the toll booths, no luck with onstar, found it 6 months later abandoned and mostly stripped. Good Luck, those things are targeted around these parts.

Go knock on the door and see if they still have that vehicle.

Or better yet, knock on the neighbor's door and ask if the folks next door have (insert vehicle description here).....

I do that all the time.
