How early is too early to get snipped? I'm 26 about to have my second sone and the wife and I were talking about how we think we are done. I always wanted atleast 5 but after havinf my first little man that quickly changed, with twins running in her family, and always being on the third pregnancy we are unsure about bringing any more kids into this fucked up world.

You are not ready. She needs and IUD and after 5 years maybe you will have a better idea as to what you both truly want to do.

Do it. It can be reversed later. If not, you've got a built in excuse because she agrees with you right now. Having two, you should be ok. I'm not sure what the age limit is, but most docs don't want to do one before you're 30. But being 26 and having two, they should not have much of an issue with it.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I started thinking about it when I was 30 after my second Son, my wife ambushed me with another pregnancy about a year after he was born. In hindsight I am glad I didn't as we had another wonderful boy who will turn three this year. My biggest concern was being able to provide for them, college specifically. I transferred my G.I bill to my oldest(7 yrs old) have funded an account that will likely cover my second boy but the third is going to be a challenge in that aspect. My opinion now is if you can afford/provide for the future spit them out as long as possible!

And this is one of the reasons I haven't got it done yet. That, and being lazy, that is. I've got enough problems with my back, I don't need to add another region of constant ache.

Did mine when I was 23, course I already had 3. Was with someone that wanted another after the wife, and we talked about it, but I was like screw that in my head.
There might come a time in life you may wish you didn't do it. BUT there will likely most definitely come a time you wish you did do it if you don't. lol
Oh and I never had a single complication after the week of soreness etc.. But luckily for me I was put under when they did it. None of this taking a needle to my nuts while I am wide awake shit. Screw that haha.

Did they offer it as an option or did you have to specifically ask for it? Was it covered under your insurance? I swear I'm still going to get it done sooner or later.
