Sorry basic phone user here, how would this affect my text messing and Internet browsing?

so far no problems and im very impressed with the battery life!
How do you like it compared to the iPhone so far?

What are on hand quantities like, can I just go down to best buy to pick one up?

And when can a developer get predictive text right? On my old flip phones you could add words to your dictionary but I still get auto correct on words that made no sense

None whatsoever. SwiftKey does a dadgum good job on the prediction front.

Anyone have an working Iphone they would be willing to part with? It can be a bit older. I'm about to throw my galaxy S out a window.

Went by the local Best Buy & got to mess around with the new HTC One. It's a pretty nice phone. Only thing that concerns me is that it has a sealed battery. Anyone think that will be a problem down the road? They didn't have a Galaxy S4 to mess around with so I'm still not sure which one I like more.

You fellas that got the S4 still happy with it? I plan on getting a new phone this weekend & it's either the Galaxy S4 or HTC One.

I believe the HTC One is the one to go with.

Get the s4, we've had a 50% return rate on the one. Different issues from freezing to the speakers being blown to not reading sims.

It does more than I need it to. I wish I could take the HTC for a week and just play around with it and see what it's about. I like the itunes feature on the HTC. Blinkfeed seems like another distraction I dont need. Even though I got the S4, I might get one of those HTC battery bars to take with me on excursions since I tend to avoid being indoors in my free time.

                    Random question.
If you put an HTC (full aluminum casing) and an S4 (aluminum frame) on a table in the texas heat, which one would overheat first?

Where you located? I have a 3GS, in perfect shape, no scratches or anything on it. Just actually reset it back to factory defaults the other day to test it still works.

On a side note, my Galaxy Note has been pretty good, no issues with it except 3 times it powered itself off for whatever reason. Good phone for what I use it for.

From a buddy that got a One late last week.

It deletedall my contacts sat. Today it was saying it had no SIM card then it did. Then it was showing to register contacts then no SIM then went normal. The back key doesn't work half the time. The audio will change random when hooked into a radio. And the volume not being separable.

                          Then there's this...

If this is true, it's an interesting idea and one I can get with.

I got home and noticed my roommate had switched back to his note 2 after using a one for a week, I didn't even ask why.

I had one returned today for an s4, same issue with the back button not wanting to work. htc had their chance to actually make a phone worth a shit and fucked it up yet again. I'm glad only 300 stores got that stupid phone nationwide.

CM10.1, done. wtf is the point of this? The people that know enough about having AOSP, or even what it means will already be on xda supporting the rom.

Is this the new HTC One? 2 guys I work with got one about 1 1/2 years ago, no issues I've ever heard from either of them. One is about to upgrade in the next week or two I think. It's his work phone, I got the Note for mine, I'll keep it a while longer. No reason to switch for the few things I use it for.
