During the "winter storm" a couple days ago, I couldn't even get online. Literally, there was no connection. If there's a normal storm, the connection is so inconsistent it's pointless even trying to get on. While playing video games, you can see the connection strength go from 1 to 4 bars, back down to 1 every couple of seconds.
It might be tolerable for on the road, but for a home internet, it's horrible.
Aren't you in Saginaw? I saw when you had stuff for sale that you were. I work dsl and uverse all over saginaw. Where are that you can't get dsl or uverse?

Be aware that complaints about any company or service are much more likely to be vocalized than are positive remarks. It's just human nature. If you have any reservations about Clear though by all mean use another ISP. I can only go by my experience and mine has been excellent, with no equipment issues or billing problems.
Then again, I normally don't have billing problems with any service providers.

So...does CLEAR drop your signal on rainy days? I'm really concerned about that happening.
Also, do you have their modem and run your own router? Or...are you using their modem with the built in router?

You can look on Clear's website to check for coverage on your street.
No changes in signal so far (since last May) due to weather.
When I bought one of their home modems they didn't yet offer one with a built-in wireless router, so I did have to buy one (Linksys) since their home modems only have one network cable input.
