Rough sex FedEx

My dog got out the front door this morning when my wife(who is pregnant to boot =/) was going to bring in the trash can and was hit by a driver that was speeding down the road. Now I understand shit happens, but this asshole didn't even bother to stop. Even when my wife was running, screaming and crying he just turned his truck around in the cul-de-sac and drove back by.

I just got home and the dog seems to be fine but we are taking him to the vet and I will be filing a driver complaint with FedEx about him speeding and not stopping.

I'm mostly thankful because my wife is more attached to this dog than she is to me and was hysterical when she called me. She is only 3 weeks from her due date and I was/am worried about her going into labor over this.

Anything else I should do short of going hunting for the asshole myself?

Oh its ups too but yeah. Even though Im fedex all the way you need to file a complaint because thats bullshit. Glad your wife and dog is ok.

Two wrongs don't make a right. I would not do more than file a complaint. I would also be very upset. I'm very attached to my dog so I sympathize with you and your wife.

I'm sure he drove off out of being scared , embarrassed and feeling terrible. Not just because he's a dog killing asshole.

I live on a street where no one has a reason to speed. Yet it happens every day. I walk my dog of leash, but have to keep her close by until I see no cars are coming.

Sorry about what happened, but I'd just take it as a lesson learned. If your dog does not obey, put him up before you open the door. I know it's a pain in the ass, but you learned first hand what can happen if you don't.

He's pretty good about not running but the neighbors dog was out and he bolted.

This is half of the reason, and having a daughter on the way makes you really see things like this in a different light.
