My old next door neighbor went to the one in LA (Pasadena?) for 2 years. Came back and worked at the Mansion for a little while. Now he's the head chef somewhere in Addison (I think it starts with an A). Not sure what he makes, and I believe he was in the upper end of his class.

One issue one friend had that graduated there was she could hardly find any place that offered benefits. Kind of the same thing with mechanics too as they struggle to find offered benefits. Since Obamacare will REQUIRE everyone to have benefits, that will make a big dent in your net pay or else you pay a fine each year for not having the benefits.

Anyway, with all these cooking shows out there, there is a flood of people suddenly think they can cook and want to become a chef. Just doesn't seem like a good field to get into right now. Whole lotta hype right now.
