  • Alignment Shop for Classic Cars?

Looking for a alignment shop that works on 1966 Mustang's with headers. I have hooker headers, and my brother has holley headers.

Jeffery's off 377 wants $535 to do an alignment, what a joke.

We have used 2nd option in the past, but after realizing all they do is jam shims in to align it, we are looking elsewhere.

Any help would be appreciated, his is down until he gets an alignment, I need one next month when I get new tires.

Pardon my ignorance, but what do the headers have to do with an allignment, and if they arent adjusting with shims, how else do they make the nessisary adjustments?

I too would like to find a good place. I've got adjustable control arms, and a 3 link rear so I need to find somewhere that knows what they are doing.

          A) Apparently the headers being there justifies them charging more . I too didn't think they had anything to do with alignments other than maybe being in the way slightly

          B) At some point, you should stop jamming 9 - 10 shims in there and see if there is another way to correct it. I don't think there should be that many shims in there...but maybe I am ignorant.

I know the drive sucks because it does for me too, but the guys at Muffler King in Garland do mine whenever I can get it over there to them. I cant remember Kevin's screen name ( or if he is even ever on here) but Brian is OrangechevyII.

Lloyd hall in oak cliff or Gary's alignment off of 35 and royal.
I've taken more than a few mustangs including a 66 and 65 with completely new front steering components and never paid more than $100

This thread might be the craziest shit I have read on this board in a long time. It isn't Rocket Surgery, any shop should be able to do it. If they say they can't they are either an idiot or don't want to mess with it.

give bob toms in mckinney a call. That is who we use all the time. the guys there have lots of experience with after market suspension parts and getting the alignment correct.
