Jesus Christ. Went to the Dr. today and took 1 for my back and just woke up from a 3 hour nap. I don't even see how you could feed yourself or go into public on that much.

Chris, I know we both struggle with sobriety. You know it's a slippery slope and I've been concerned about you since you stopped working. You had another episode like this a year or two ago but thankfully you were at home trying to post on the board which you blamed on Ambien. I see so much personality and goodness in you and it upsets me to see you falling back into your old ways. I wish the best for you and hope you get your shit together.

You are 100% correct. It is a struggle and I've been fighting it over the last couple of years. I had 10 years of sobriety during which I excelled in all areas of life. I blew it for no good reason other than I quit being actively involved in recovery. When I blew it, I not only disappointed quite a few of my friends, but started going backwards in life. I know what the good days were like and am trying to get back to that style of living. It's no secret that my demons are very powerful and will ultimately destroy me. This last week has been a wake up call for me. I am thankful I did not hurt anyone while on the road. I had no business being behind the wheel. The fact that I don't remember most of it is a weak excuse. ... I knew better than to even take the Ambien to begin with. I am an addict.

They have the opposite effect on me. My last script was for Norco 10's. They wire me up. If I take them too late in the day, I can't sleep
