Ok there is more to the story about my girlfriends stolen car. The fact is that I took Ambien the night before the car came up missing. I got up around 6 am to go to the Quick Trip at Lamar and Ballpark way. I remember running over something or scraping the curb on the right side and getting two flat tires. I remember pulling into a parking lot somewhere and jacking the car up to put the spare on , then realizing it was a futile effort because I had two flats. I remember calling Roadside Assistance, and I remember a couple of people near the car trying to help me with the situation.
The next thing I remember is walking around the area of Ballpark Way, and walking, and, and walking, until I was up at Collins and Brown Avenue. I had the keys to the car in my hand, but had no recollection off where I had left the car nor who the people were that were assisting me with the car.
I realized that something very bad had happened and that I had no idea where the car was. I walked and walked for another two hours searching for the car and finally wind up back at my girlfriend's apartment, where the whole nightmare begin with me driving off to the store.
So since Tuesday the car has been missing. The only recollection I have is of the car sitting in a parking lot, with two flat tires, but I have no idea where.
You have no idea how terrible I feel for this happening. Since times have been tough for me with unemployment I had sold both my vehicles and my girlfriend and I were sharing her car.
I wonder if someone who lives near the area of Lamar and Collins would be willing to drive me around and help me search for the car.
when I called roadside assistance I didn't know where I was so they have no record of the car being at any particular location. I also had to explain to the police exactly what happened, in the officer said he would send an email out to the patrol units to be on the lookout for the car, but that it couldn't be officially reported stolen since I had permission to use the car and did not actually see anybody stealing it.
At this point I can only hope that the police will stumble upon it somewhere or maybe an alert DFW Stanger might see it parked somewhere.
if anybody would be willing to help by picking me up and driving me around the area it would be greatly appreciated I don't know what else to do at this point.
Obviously I am in the doghouse with my girlfriend and both of us have been fighting back the tears all week.I may also need a place to stay lol.
So the moral of the story is do not take ambien I should have learned my lesson a couple of years ago when I took ambien and had nightmarish experience back then. I have been having trouble sleeping and took ambien how to get some relief and some rest and in no way was using it as a party drug or for recreational purposes.
So please be on the lookout for a red Ford Fusion license plate in MNH 370.
