My 08 just says "Tire low" and it's the Laramie edition. I would love it if it just told me which one

The gov't started requiring TPMS on all vehicles a year or two ago.

An industry first on this SUV is the use of a tire pressure inflation indicator system. When the driver is adding air to a tire at a service station, from an aftermarket compressor or an air tank, the system honks the horn and flashes the hazard flashers when correct tire inflation pressure is reached, thus eliminating the fill-and-check, fill-and-check ritual with a tire pressure gauge.

My Dad's 98 Bonneville SSEi has a mini compressor built in the trunk for refilling the tires. I've wondered why not a lot of manufacturers have that as an option - it has come in handy a couple of times.

2010 camaros have a compressor instead of a spare tire.

That would be a compressor for suspension parts.
To inflate a tire with a vehicle mounted compressor, while the wheel/tire is on the car without an external air hose requires some sort of hub centric inflation system, (ie. H1 Hummer) that allows the connection between the chassis and wheel to rotate freely...
Way too much of a pain in the ass for a Pontiac Bonneville.

EDIT: just realized you meant a compressor for you to use to inflate them yourself... not a 'central tire inflation system'

The Bonneville has an external hose. That way you can use it on more than just that vehicle.

Matt, you retard. It's a bonneville, not a hummer. LOL

Same for certain 2011 Mustang packages.

I can't figure out why a Mustang GT costs $30K now...

I can't figure out why dealers add on $2k+ for a built in Nav system still.

Ford apparently markets to the lowest common denominator.

Isn't Ford the official vehicle of the Dallas Cowboys?

I don't get why the ford still cuts corners on a stang when the price has gone up.

my 350z would tell you the PSI in each tire in real time... It is really handy unless you are OCD and try to keep everything even lol. My VW just has the dummy light, but tells you if it is just low, or really low / flat.

The mercedes and porsches that I've been around only have the dummy light, so that seems to be pretty common.

Freaking compressor isn't going to help no damn blow out. I don't believe that was a good idea.
