F150 or Silverado

Been thinking of purchasing a new daily driver. Looking at either a F150 or Silverado. It will be a Regular Cab with a Short Bed & a V8. Plans are basically to lower it, nice set of wheels & tires & bolt on's. Which make would you fellas choose?

what years, and whats your budget? brand new Id get a ford, but 2 or so years older Id get a chevy. ford's v8 cant compare to chevy

If you're not planning on modding the motor I'd get a ford because the interior is nicer. If you're going to change the heads or cam get an ls1.

Drive them both. They are both nice. The new Chevy/GMC are right around the corner. That said, killer deals on the '13 models and they are solid trucks.
