I've been wondering if a similar event would unfold like this in Dallas/Ft. Worth? We are (for the most part) armed to the teeth. Would a terrorist even be able to carjack someone without getting his ass shot off? Just a thought.

24 hour news cycle man. They only have sp much shit to talk about and have to fill the time somehow, and they repeat every 15 min or so for those just tuning in. It's annoying, but I'd doibt it's nefarious. Besides, they'd be killing eachother to get news like that on the air first.
