Just finished replacing the glass on my s3. Just wondering if anybody else has replaced their own screen on a phone. So far I've done an ipad, ipod, htc evo, and a galaxy s3. Its amazing how much u can save with ebay and youtube for directions.

I am about to do thd same for my S3. I have had if for a week and dropped it before I got my case. Should get the glass today.

The galaxy s3 looks like a pita to replace the glass. I wanted to fix the one on my wife's phone, but said fuck that after seeing the youtube vid.

IPhone 4 and the 4s are family simple just order a replacement glass w/ digitizer. The OEM glass is glued to the digitizer so you can't replace it like you think

Check YouTube, you'll need some special tools, but parts are cheap.

I thought about that, but I can't be $50 or more into it including tools and parts. I so I'd rather pay aplple $50 and get a new screen
