I'm a train dispatcher for BNSF and pretty much everything that has been mentioned so far is to some degree correct. There won't be any dispatchers hired for some time right now. They put about 20 dispatchers in fort worth on an as needed call board and it's expected to be mid next year before they are all back to work full time status. We do all have to go through 10 weeks of class at TCC before we get to start. Until the economy picks back up they really are only going to hire positions that they have an immediate need for.
