          Looking at google maps the apartment complex is very small, and only 500 ft from the tank that blew. The nursing home is < 600 feet.

          West Community Hospital is ~1200 feet.

          I'm surprised the apartment complex still has a first floor, forget the fact that the second floor collapsed.

                              According to Fox4 the EPA had this facility regulated as not being at risk of explosion or fire.

                                You would hope, but, in reality, West has a volunteer fire department. Most mean well, but don't know much about things like this. I use to work close to West in Hill County, sad news for sure. I go to west every Westfest, as my Fiances dad plays in a polka band (we are both Czech). It is a great little town,with great people. I will be donating blood tomorrow morning. Prayers to everyone involved and their families.
