No, because a DA and an ADA that hated him with a passion, ended up getting him convicted of stealing three computer monitors, had him thrown off the bench, and had his license to practice law removed.

Should thieves remain on the bench and retain their law license?

I didn't say that. I informed that there is more to the story than the theft of three monitors. It is well known that the DA/ADA had a major issue with the judge, and I'm sure that had a major part in why the charges were made originally.

His wife sold him down the river. She must have cut some kind of deal.

Sounds like she has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. So she probably is trying to clear her conscience. Who knows? Still surprised that he was "the guy". But probably felt they took his lively hood away and his wife was dying so he had nothing to loose?????

There's no way they will giver her any deal better than life without parole.
Maybe she thinks she can do better? Who knows.

From the reports is sounds like she may not make it until the trial starts? Maybe they are making her sound worse (health wise) than she is? But if she is already battling a major illness. All the stress she put on herself with this, she probably won't make it long.

no justification for murder, two sides to every story.

                    story I was told today

JP Williams wanted new monitors for the JP court, ask the county I.S. person, was told, "no way".
J.P. Williams went to the store room at the county court house. Found 3 monitors in storage. Took monitors to use at the J.P. court. the DA filed charges of theft. all the other stuff came from his act of getting some monitors for the JP court. Just what i was told today.

Now the husband has been charged
                            http://www.myfoxdfw.com/story/220161...cutor-slayings

Ex-justice of the peace Eric Williams has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of Mike McLelland, his wife Cynthia and Mark Hasse.

The charges were announced Thursday afternoon at a press conference and cap a stressful three months in normally quiet Kaufman County.

Williams is being held on a $23 million bond.

Williams' wife, Kim, was charged Wednesday with capital murder in the three killings. She confessed to authorities and said her husband Eric was the gunman.

At Thursday's press conference, authorities said Kim Williams was the getaway driver for the Hasse slaying outside the county courthouse. Kim Williams was a passenger for the McLelland murders.

Sources have told FOX4 that a storage facility Williams rented was filled with weapons and had a Crown Victoria that had been seen in the McLelland's neighborhood when they were gunned down.

Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia were murdered Easter weekend. Hasse was shot outside the Kaufman County Courthouse on January 31.

According to a probable cause affidavit released when Williams was arrested for terroristic charges, Eric Williams sent an email that implied there would be another attack if various demands were not met. He lost his job in 2012 after stealing three computer monitors and being found guilty by a jury.
