That whole situation sucks man. My buddy just picked up a FZ1 the other day, and IM IN LOVE with it.

how exactly do you ride around with a dog? curious

I started out by putting him in a back pack that I modified to have a hard bottom. Then I started wrapping my gas tank with a towel so he could get used to the balance and give him something to grip.
We later found that he prefers to lay across my lap, thus keeping him snug in between my torso and gas tank.

I ride a Superhawk 996 and I'm 6'1", if that helps with a visual pic.

haha that's wild. i'd be nervous about the little guy falling off! but i assume youre not riding too agressively with him on there anyways

No, I putt around with him on there. With the way he spreads his weight, I don't think he'll ever fall off from leisurely riding.

My single biggest worry are other cars and pulling out in front of me. I am fully prepared to toss him to the grass and eat a car if/when that happens. Maybe I'll get lucky enough to get to the grass with him, but he will certainly survive.
