    In that situation, stay home. If your wife has a regular cold and doesn't feel good, that is one thing, but when you are puking, it's tough to get anything done. Simple shit like making food becomes almost impossible and you need someone.

              Stay home. In fact this happened to me this week, except that my bosses are really cool and have no problem with us taking off for personal reasons as long as you don't take advantage of them.
              I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.


              Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

                What matters is that your boss and coworkers are trying to make you feel guilty for doing what you think is right. I'd be pretty pissed about the situation myself, and be looking for my next job where they don't hassle people for taking care of their family.

                  This. And as someone else stated, it doesn't matter why you take off. If I'm missing work, it's because I need to. I don't miss work often. And I don't get hassled about anything.
