Sal was one of the owners of the Italian Villa off Little road in SW Arlington. He went on to open La Gondola in Mansfield after closing the Villa. As a teenager I worked at the Villa and had the privilege of spending time in the kitchen working with Sal and the crew. Anthony, Sals son, has been a friend since 7th grade. I'm saddened by the loss of a father and amazing chef.

That sucks. My mom always wanted to go to the Villa for her birthday. The Sicilian pizza was incredible. I was major disappoint when they closed. Yet, Mac's still thrives and I have no clue why.Comment
