Does anybody here regularly go there? I'm there almost every year.

The 5k is fun, but 15k loses the "fun" part of the fun run, especially in Texas heat.

If you do the fun run, you get a cheesy T-shirt, a pass into the grounds, and 2 drink/beer tickets. You can actually profit/break even off of the run, due to people not wanting to wait in line for the tickets.

Its been almost 8 years since I last went, but if Im ever in Texas for the occasion again, I will go.

The company I work for sets up shop there every year, i've never gone though.

I go to the Denton Arts and Jazz instead. They seem to always be the same weekend.

It's not too bad. Plus, this year they are finally opening up the new fair grounds.
