Our family place lets you cash them out with interest or current market value.

Like Frank said, it depends on what cemetary and then where they are located within the cemetary. Believe it or not, there are "prime" plot areas within the cemetary. Anyways, Restland told us they were worth like $10,000.00 a plot, but there's no way we're going to get that out of them.

Better yet make fliers and pass them out at the old folks home with some candy attached to each one to sweeten the deal.

x100000...... but you need to poison the candy for quick results.

Yup location and surroundings are key. Our family has had ours since 1940. We bought 10 and have only used 2. At a current value, I think it's time to cash out for us. LOL

As much as I dislike the thought of death, I dislike the people that profit from it even more.

Some people are extremely dishonest- and will take a family for everything they've got. I don't believe in Putting a family in debt for a funeral. My family works with peoples budgets and have people still paying off funerals from years ago, because 25.00 maybe all they can afford. It's a very rewarding job when done correctly and honestly. You are taking care of a family-- who needs you even after the funeral is said and done. A little old lady still comes up to the funeral home after her husbands death so we can write out her checks for her bills each month because her husband took care of everything and she has no clue how to take care of things.
