Serves me right for not checking the dates and the whole thread. Anyway, good job on the asking price, maybe I need to do that with some of mine.

Sold the Escape in 2 hours for my asking price. My phone nearly died from all the inquiries I was getting about it. I will admit, my ad was very detailed, I had 24 photos and the car was super clean...but wow.

Used car market is indeed whack...however in Athens, GA it is hurting. Got a 2008 MDX for around $6,000 under KBB with every option known to man on it.

Flying out Saturday to get it and drive it home.
          Good job.

We have a 2002 Explorer XLT with only 80k on it and in perfect condition. My wife refuses to entertain the idea of a new SUV but I busted her a week ago online looking at new Explorers. She deserves one but is too cheap to let us get another.

Now I need to see what KBB is on hers.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

The back seats in the new Explorers suck even for an average sized adult.

Ever tried to buy a car on craigslist? People are freaking stupid and cant even remember to post mileage on cars let alone get a decent description

I have never sold a car on craigslist in more than 48 hours. A smart seller sells the car more then anything

Craigslist can be a bitch sometimes. If you use too many commas, or too many numbers, or too many characters, they will ghost your ad and it will never show up. Most of the time you have to post a bare minimum ad.

I was trying to get my wife to look at used Explorers. They are really good cars. But she wanted all the fancy tech (auto-leveling headlights, iron filings in the shocks that firm it up in "sport" mode, AWD, voice control of aircon, voice control of radio, voice control of navigation) so I lost out as the Explorer didn't get sync til' way late in the game.

$4900 made me a happy man that night, wish I had listed it for $5300 or something just slightly higher, I really think I could have got it.

If you end up selling, refurbish the easy stuff and take a bazillion photos and lay out your ad nice. Apparently that differentiates us from the CL morons.

Im thinking about selling trading my 04 Grand Cherokee for something with 3 row seating. I sure hope the demand is high so I can get something bigger.
