Good luck with the lake patrol. I was with a friend in his pontoon just chillin and he had the blue ones and they made him turn them off. LP told him that the lights bulb could not be showing and they can't be blue or red.

Curious, which lake? Only been out 3 times, and no problems so far. I have some LED flood lights now too that really help. I'm usually tucked away in some cove though fishing, but have not noticed any authority on Lewisville yet - especially after 9-10 at night - hardly any boat traffic.

We fish tournaments and if its dim lighting we always have them on. Never had a problem. Haven't ever fished EM though.

I am actually going to do some googling. It would almost seem dumb to bitch about lights on when anchored...etc. I can understand if they are focused lights blinding other boaters and so forth. Need to understand the rules (even if per lake) about this better - helps see in the boat better, less tripping etc...

...or was this in reference to exterior lights?
