Eye am butter den awl y'alls!

But I joined to provide a decent future for myself (which worked out) and I was not on the path for college. I also did something most people on this board wouldn't or couldn't do so I have pride in what I do. Do I throw it around? No. People ask me questions on an almost daily basis so my desire to talk about it is met quickly.

My nephew was a Marine . Drives me insane. (he is 24)

I finally lost my shit on him last week after 24 hours of hearing his bullshit i snapped and drug him out back to my shop by his shirt collar and threw a set of boxing gloves at him. I proceeded to put on my wifes pink gloves so it would be even funnier after i fucked him up. He started crying and I couldnt get him to do a fucking thing. .blah blah blah.

This is a kid that has a hot wife that comes from British money. She is a CPA or something like that and makes bank. The only reason she hasnt dropped him like a bad habit is because she is British and they tend to not just up and divorce as quick as we do. He goes to school half the day and sits on his ass playing PS3 the rest of the time. I was telling him that he is on campus and after his last class gets out, he needs to go to the gym on campus and lift weights.....do something to get him out of this funk/pity party. The first thing he said was "well i dont have time." I hollered in his face "well you have all the fuckin time in the world to be gaming cuz it pops up on my ps3 and lets me know what you are doing, so fuckin tell me another one!" When you have a kid with toothpick arms and legs constantly tell you how much of a badass he thinks he is, it grates on you. I can understand being in a funk.....but this funk has lasted years. the best thing that could happen to him is his wife to drop him on his ass and give him a dose of the real world. i think he is finally off of the fuckin meds they always put you on when you are depressed, but without actually making an effort to change his life, nothing is going to happen. You cant tell a fucking 24 year old jack shit because they really all think they have a good grasp on everything and dont understand just how quickly their world can get flipped upside down.

on another note, these fuckin head shrinkers need to lay off on the prescribing of meds and start telling patients to go outside and exercise.

                              • I think what bothers me most is the constant talk of "protecting our Freedoms". Really? Believe me, I never met a single Vietnamese that threatened to come to Oklahoma to blow something up. And none of the haji's has the ability to come take away a damn thing of yours so stop it. Silliest shit I ever heard. And to think that the same government that sent everyone off to fight doesn't give a shit about the returning vet. And yes, I served but it was so long ago we still had prop planes.
