i have been in the MRI machine several times in the last 2 years and i love it. Kick back and close your eyes and take a nap.
My longest stint in one so far has been 2 hours. slept like a log

Bullshit on taking a nap unless you're medicated. It isn't exactly a quiet bed and breakfast in there.

I've never been all the way in (just lower half) but I totally slept through an MRI a couple years ago.

I can sleep anywhere though (any my wife hates me for it). When I fly, especially early in the morning, I'm usually asleep before we taxi out and I wake up when we touch down.

you were not a Marine. I sleep far better with noise than i do with quiet. cant turn my brain off when it is quiet. i was not ready to come out of my last MRI when we finished. was snoozin hard!

Maybe you will get a raging boner from the rays. A pretty nurse will have to hold it down so they can get you out. It probably will stay up for days.

Just rub one out before you go in.

When I was in the Army I could sleep anywhere. Laying down on gravel with my helmet as a pillow? Np.. When I drove a Humvee I would have to take cat naps throughout the day. That consisted of just leaning over on the center hump and crashing.

Hell, I remember going back to my barracks room at the end of the day, cranking up my stereo and crashing with it blaring.

I super racked out coming out if the field in the back of a 5ton on the terrible fort hood tank trails sleeping on folded on GP mediums and engineer tool kits. Sleeping at the end of the runway in balad made me be able to sleep through anything.

Do they have a box where you can deposit your man card as you enter for the MRI?
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

So they asked for an MRI... i thought cool no biggie but been looking at videos and there isnt much room in that machine. I think i may feel claustrophobic and freak out.. idk haha may be im over reacting. Anyone have any tips for me?

So you got rear ended by a cab and now your doctor is getting an MRI? You dont need an MRI. It will not change your management. You have musculoskeletal strains. Motrin and PT and you will be good. I take it there is litigation involved?
