Just sounds like a good excuse to drive like a rally car everywhere

Gymkhana snow style! At least that low front end would plow the snow out of the way

I laugh at these people who have their Mustangs or RWD cars and they get stuck on the hills, or spin out everywhere. During a big snow event, I usually end up passing about 10+ cars because they cant get up hills.

I was looking at one yesterday, I really want one now, lol.
I think I'm going to pull the trigger on its uglier sister, a loaded SRX AWD V8.

I might have to own one of those CTSV wagons at some point. Seriously badass. As for the Flex, I liked it when it came out, and it has slowly gotten ugly and boring to me.

i know you hate our coupe but they are BEASTS. ive driven cars that put more rwhp down, but never driven anything with such a linear power curve. i guess spraying a car with a window switch lets you feel some torque, but ive never felt so much torque under 3k RPM.

Sorry, the coupe is pretty ugly. It looks like a Honda Accord on steroids.

i agree, i asked MY MOM to buy the wagon, but she already has an escalade and traded in an SL benz on it, so she wanted another 2door. funny story, and unless im retarded and cant figure it out, the sunroof doesnt roll back on the coupe.. only lifts up

You may still be retarded, but not because of the moonroof. On the Coupe, it only tilts. My ultraview equipped V sedan has the motorized shade that opens all the way and the moonroof glass opens normally on the front half. The back half of the glass is fixed.

so i am retarded but the sun roof doesnt opem. thats retarded too. does the wagon open all the way?

reminds me of something i've heard about 80's G-Body wagons having rear windows (back door) that do not roll down, but only open 'out' vent-style.

Yes, the wagon works the same as the sedans. there isn't enough roof space on the Coupe apparently to make the moonroof retract. Though, the Coupe drivers get blind side mirror detection and my '12 sedan doesn't have that.

You don't have giant rear quarter panels that are blocking your view.

My wife has had a 2010 Equinox LTZ with the four banger since they came out in late 2009. We've had one issue with the AC condenser failing but that was replaced under warranty. Beyond that it has performed flawlessly. It doesn't have a single rattle in it. My only real complaint is that you can't get the advertised 32mpg hwy. However the 29mpg I can get isn't shabby.

Isn't the new SRX on that chassis?

It is on the Theta Premium Chassis. The Equinox is on the Theta Chassis. They share parts but they actually have some major differences. The Theta premium also has signficant components from the Epsilon II platform and is bigger than the Theta.

The SRX is also built at a Mexican plant. The Nox and Terrain are build in Canada.
