so let's say that this family was minding their own business when the law showed up and busted in the door.........like exactly what happened.......then let's say that the family would have had a firearm handy and had shot the intruders. How is this a problem?

These people were completely innocent and had their rights completely taken away and in my opinion should have every right to open fire on anyone and everyone coming thru the door.

In 95' a bounty hunter claiming to be a police officer tried to force his way through my front door and it started a fight that ended with him being held at gun point waiting for DPD to show up. When they did get there they came 5 deep, guns drawn and entered my apt. Once they figured out that my call was legit they calmed down; a Cpl saw my hydroponic garden on my kitchen counter full of herbs & tomatoes and it tickled him to death. His comment to me was "Why don't you just grow pot like everyone else?".
