  • DFW apartment question

If you were going to live in a nice apartment, which part of the metroplex would you live?

Have a friend moving there in a couple of weeks and needing to find a place to live. Told her i would help her out, so why not come on here and ask?

She's already wanting to look at a couple of places in Frisco, Coppell and Las Colinas

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Depends on so many things, like where she will be working, where she will be hanging out, what stuff she likes to do, where her friends and/or family are located, what type of people she prefers to be surrounded by, how much she is willing to spend, etc.

Personally, I'm a Tarrant County kind of guy. Without any additional info, I'd say downtown Grapevine or Sundance Square.

You let us worry about getting them on the internet, you focus on getting the pictures.

Going to work for a company called Mitchell. They have something to do with software for insurance companies i think? They just want her to be able to get to the airport without it taking an hour to do so. Mitchell is based out of California, so they want her to be able to get out there asap if they need her.

No family out there and friends are kind of spread all over, so those aren't very important for the location. The aiport is though.

I second this. I also would say stay away from Las Colinas/Valley Ranch. Overrated.

Austin Ranch - off Tollway and Windhaven in Plano. (thats if she works up north)

If she works downtown dallas area, Southside @ Lamar lofts.

Mid-Cities - I'd aim for Grapevine or Las Colinas

I'd recommend somewhere up 360 around Trinity. She could be at the airport in less than 10 minutes and it's away from all the horrible construction traffic going on in Grapevine
