What fast-food restaurant did you like growing up that SUCKS now?

Not that you know any better when you're a kid, but McDonald's used to be a real treat for me. My grandparents took me to see "Ronnie Donnie" frequently and I loved it. Even knowing the food was junk, as an adult I maybe at there 4-5 times a year until I wrote them off for good when they started their "I'm Lovin' It" urban bullshit many years ago. I won't let my kid eat it at all.

One day this past winter my wife needed to get jr. out of the house to burn off some energy so she took him to the McDonald's by our house since the weather was shit and they had an indoor playground. Yup, I went to Whataburger last week, when I got home they forgot my fries. They must have thought that I wouldn't care, but I do give a fuck!
So I went back after I ate my meal and told them what happened, clown comes to the window with a large fry, I told him I was done with my meal and now I was ready for dessert, I drove off with three fried pies, two apple and a lemon...

Funny you say that. Many, many years ago I had gone to Fuddrucker's with friends. It was right when I had just gotten in to this side of the industry. I ordered quesadillas. They came out, and they had fucking corn in them. I like corn, but I don't want any goddamn corn on my quesadillas. So I asked them to make some without corn. They informed me that they couldn't. That is right around the time all this food prep stuff started to shift.

Same here, I never eat it anyways. SF had VERY few chain restaurants, I heard many say it was by design - that the city didn't want them.

We cook at home most meals. We finally found a pizza place we like here that we get once every 2 weeks but that's really about it.

Yeah, I really dont eat fast food anymore and im pretty picky about where I go to eat. Hell as much as fast food cost these days its better to go a nice sit down place to eat...
