Headed out west!

Welp, it looks like I'll be moving out west to do more rig work. We are putting a yard out in midland so that we can pump out the sewer and deliver fresh water to the oil/gas rigs. Any advice for that area? I haven't ever been out that way.

There is a whole lot of nothing out that way. If you have a day off and it's warm outside and if you don't mind a bit of a drive, head out to Balmorhea, tx. About 2 hours from midland, there is a state park out there that has a small swimming area. The water is absolutely crystal clear and full of fish. The water is fucking cold though, runs 72*F year round.

Living expenses should drop off after they finish building the 200th hotel out there. When I was out west I saw 19 hotels being built that I counted.
