The ones with the brake pads inside the drum on the rotor. The heat from the rotor must make the glue holding the brake lineing on come loose. If the wheel hub leaks, the grease makes the lineings fall off. overall it just sucks.

Just replaced the shoes and rotors on the back of my truck that are the same way. Was more of a hassle to take off the wheels to adjust them then swapping it all07 f250-family truckster
