2013 Cummins engines have new combustion recipes. Less fuel usage (hotter temps), more DEF (1z% ish) to offset the increased NOx production, better mileage while meeting the new emissions regs.Last edited by Strychnine; 03-25-2013, 08:07 PM.

13 L was a bastard motor, Cat c13 lower with a international head. Cats love high RPM they tried to make it run 900 to 1100 rpm. Wrong bore and stroke.
Try calling a shop and getting one in for work, plan on a two week wait.
