The street is owned by the city. Don't leave it for a long period, give them 4-5 feet on each side of their drive. Don't park near a hydrant or mailbox and your good to go (from a city code perspective, at least where I live). Also, if your parking on the left side of their drive they could claim you are obscuring the view of oncoming traffic (assuming they have a drive/the street has decent traffic).

See, I have a bit of a problem with that on my street, the people at the end park their gooseneck that hauls thier company's concrete equipment and it makes it tough to get through. The city will cite them for it being there since emergency trucks cant get through. I dont have as big of a problem when it is hooked to the truck, since I figure it is moving in a matter of hours.

They didn't have to call management. The assholes across my street bought a huge horrible looking RV and parked it in front of their house. We just called 311 and a cop write them a ticket. What does your lease agreement say? If your landlord owns both properties, and it's in your contract that you can't park a trailer on the street, you might get boned by the property managers. The best thing to do with out of the ordinary shit like this, is talk to your neighbors about it ahead of time. People can be real dicks about stuff that they perceive affects them, even if it really doesn't.

Fom a legal aspect sure, but just like HOA's, they can fine, raise rent, evict, etc., as long as it is written into the rental agreement.
