My wife had a kid when I met her; I said I would never date a woman with a kid. We moved in together in 08, and are in our second year of marriage. I'm about to begin the adoption process on her daughter.
My father married my mother and adopted my brother and I.
I'm not saying run out and hook up with the first insta-family you can find, but a woman with a child has more respect from me than one with an abortion on her record.

The way I look at it is anyone of us can make a life altering bad decision at any moment, but that doesn’t define us as a person.
That being said; know that hooking up with a mother has to be looked at differently. Define your motives up front, and wait to meet the kids until you are both ready. Or you will be Daddy before you get your dick wet.

I've got 2 and I refuse to date a guy with more than 1 and guys with none fair better than guys with even 1. I don't want to be involved with their kid and they need not even think about getting involved with mine. They've got a dad...I don't need 2 PITA's to deal with when raising them. Unless, things take off serious then it'd be a slow introduction at best.

I have and will date a chick with kids but like bcoop said tons of them make bad choices . I have a little boy and I have him 50% of the time . I will not involve anyone in his life until I am confident they are of the proper fabric . That means I will not let my time with him and my time with her intersect . I need to see if and how much I like a girl way before I get involved in her life enough to know her kids much less get involved in there lives . I have a habit of being brutally honest so she will know if I am there for fun or for the future . She has to have so many things right to even peek my interest that her character will be extensively interrogated long before meeting the kids comes up . If she can get past that screen then she must have her shit together and will not make those bad choices so there will be no problem .
